Videostar II Freefield binocular digital videonystagmoscope, USB 2.0
DI 140932 : Videostar II Freefield binocular digital videonystagmoscope, USB 2.0
The Difra videonystagmoscope transcribes the image of the patient's eyes on a computer screen and from it on any screen connected to this computer.
The Videostar II can be used to evaluate the patient's reactions to nystagmus in test, caloric, rotational or other stimulus positions.
The cameras record eye movements through an IR mirror. The patient's field of vision is thus unobstructed. The patient can be immersed in darkness by means of a mask. The mask also includes a fixation point that can be controlled by software.
Both cameras are mounted on a comfortable mask that follows the line of the patient's face, completely blocking out outside light. The focus of each camera can be adjusted by means of an easily accessible knob. Two other buttons allow each camera to be positioned on a horizontal and vertical axis, enabling it to adapt to most morphologies.
In addition to real-time visualization of eye movement on the computer screen, the software can record eye videos. A patient management system organizes their storage. Simultaneous playback of two videos makes it easy to compare examinations. The software can export videos in AVI format.
The Videostar also lets you record videos of the patient's posture and sound using a webcam (not supplied).
Finally, an optional remote control allows you to start and stop video recording while working with the patient.
