DI 140932 : Videostar II Freefield binocular digital videonystagmoscope, USB 2.0
The Difra videonystagmoscope transcribes the image of the patient's eyes on a computer screen and from it on any screen connected to this computer.
The Videostar II helps to assess the reactions of the patient viewing his eyes doing nystagmus during testing positions, caloric, rotary or due to any other stimulus.
The cameras record eye's movement through an IR mirror. The patient's field of vision is thus free of any obstacles. A cover allows the patient to be plunged into darkness. The mask also includes a fixing point that can be controlled by the software.
Both cameras are fixed on a comfortable mask, fitting the line of the patient's face in order to occult completely from the outside light. The focus of each camera is adjustable using an easily accessible button. Two other buttons control each camera to positon it along a horizontal and vertical axis, allowing it to adapt to the majority of body shapes.
In addition to the visulation in real time of the eye movement on the computer screen, the software allows to record videos of the eye. A patient management organizes the storage thereof. The examinations comparison is easy thanks to the simultaneous playback of two videos. The software is able to export videos in AVI format.
The Videostar also allows you to record video from the patient's posture and sound through the help of a webcam, not included.
Finally, an optional remote control let you start and stop recording of the videos while working with the patient.
